Will Greenwood
Rugby World Cup winner 2003, Rugby Union
Will Greenwood, the World Cup winning centre, is one of England's greatest ever rugby players, as well as one of the sport's most engaging characters. He is the second highest try scorer in English rugby history.
Will worked on the trading floor for HSBC while playing for Harlequins and went on to make his debut in 1997 against Australia, eventually wining 55 caps. He scored a hat-trick of tries in the 2001 Six Nations victory over Wales in Cardiff and the following year was awarded "Man of the Match" against Scotland, Wales and Italy.
Will was a pivotal figure in England's 2003 World Cup winning squad, finishing the tournament as joint top try scorer with five to his name.
Having been part of the British & Irish Lions' squads that toured South Africa and Australia in 1997 and 2001, Will won his first Lions cap on the 2005 tour of New Zealand. During his career, Will played for NEC Harlequins, Leicester and Preston Grasshoppers.
Will pens a weekly column in the Saturday Telegraph and is now one of the faces of Sky Sports. In 2007, he also was hired as a lead pundit for ITV's coverage of the Rugby World Cup. He was awarded the MBE in the 2004 New Year's Honours List.
